What Great Parks Can You Visit in Zululand?

Zululand offers you, undoubtedly, two of the most iconic game reserves in South Africa. The “Big 5” Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, the oldest game reserve in Africa, world renowned for innovations in conservation! Can boast that it is the genetic home of all white Rhinos alive today.
The other is iSimangaliso Wetland Park. In Zulu the name means “Place of Miracle or Wonder” which this park certainly is! Home to 4 of the “Big 5”, hundreds of Nile crocodiles and Hippos. Bordered by the warm Indian Ocean, unspoilt beaches, seasonal turtle nesting and whale migrations – it is simply a Wildlife Wonderland and a safari experience like no other – anywhere!
South Africa’s first declared World Heritage Site for Nature also with 4 RAMSAR Sites in the park boundries! This entire Zululand Coastal region is simply the most remarkable and diverse wildlife area anywhere in South Africa! Zululand has everything to satisfy the true wildlife and nature safari enthusiast!
What Happens On The Day Of Your Safari?
Depending on what time and from where you will be starting, your guide will meet you at your accommodations reception or the relevant entry gate. Once the necessary formalities are concluded, you are good to go! While our guides are extremely knowledgeable, highly experienced and know both of these parks like the back of their hands, nature does what nature does so there are never any guarantees what the day will bring. Sit back, relax and enjoy the day out…embracing whatever Mother Nature delivers!

We will meet you quayside where your cruise ship has docked and then drive you through to relevant park gate.
Waiting at the gate for you with our “Bushbaby Safaris Zululand” open safari vehicle will be your guide for the day.
Once all the entry formalities are sorted and the guide has given you the safety briefing, you are good to go!
All our safaris are timed with the cruise ship arrival & departure schedule, this means that depending on your actual
starting time we will adjust the meal options to suit. At the end of the day we will drop you off at your cruise ship again!

How Our Booking And Pricing Works
Tiered Pricing Structure
When booking you can select suitable meal options to suit your safari. You are welcome to bring your own picnic basket, snacks and drinks along or support the park restaurants & shops in Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park. There are no such facilities available in iSimangaliso Wetland Park
We have a tiered pricing structure, so there is no minimum number of travellers! We are happy to take a solo traveller, up to a
group of 9 family or friends. Once you have booked, no other bookings are accepted for that slot. You are assured that
you will have the whole vehicle to yourself and the guides undivided attention.
Children u/12 must be accompanied by at least one paying Adult or Legal Guardian.
NB – Rates are “Per Person”, including park entry fees, applicable meals, sunrise coffee & rusks, refreshments, transfers and your guide for the day!

3-Hour Safari Drive
Choose from a morning or afternoon drive to experience the park’s abundant wildlife. Refreshments, including coffee, tea, and rusks, are provided mid-way through the drive. Your guide will ensure you make the most of your time, giving insight into the park’s flora and fauna.
